2018 Summer Youth Playing Options!

Valley Ultimate has two summer youth options:

  1. Youth Club Champs program. This program culminates in a trip to the 2018 Youth Club Championships. All YCC players also participate in the summer youth league. Tryouts are on Sunday, June 10th from 9am to Noon at the Oxbow in Northampton.
  2. Summer youth league. This program meets 8 times during the summer and is run as a coached youth league.

Youth Girls’ Hat Tournament on June 16th!

This is a single-day tournament. The event is open to all Middle and High School girls ultimate players. Students who have just graduated from HS this spring are allowed to participate. Every registered player will be assigned a randomly yet fairly built team prior to the event. Each team will be coached by an experienced coach from the valley. All participants will need to be full USAU members, or pay the Valley Ultimate affiliate membership fee.

The missions of this tournament:

  • Promote women’s ultimate in the valley
  • Give students from schools that do not have the capacity to support girls’ teams, the opportunity to play on all-female teams

In line with those missions, coaches will be offering skill- and community-building clinics between tournament rounds.

All games will be played at the Oxbow Marina Fields in Northampton on Saturday, June 16th.
