Youth Girls’ Hat Tournament on June 16th!

This is a single-day tournament. The event is open to all Middle and High School girls ultimate players. Students who have just graduated from HS this spring are allowed to participate. Every registered player will be assigned a randomly yet fairly built team prior to the event. Each team will be coached by an experienced coach from the valley. All participants will need to be full USAU members, or pay the Valley Ultimate affiliate membership fee.

The missions of this tournament:

  • Promote women’s ultimate in the valley
  • Give students from schools that do not have the capacity to support girls’ teams, the opportunity to play on all-female teams

In line with those missions, coaches will be offering skill- and community-building clinics between tournament rounds.

All games will be played at the Oxbow Marina Fields in Northampton on Saturday, June 16th.

Women’s Clinic Rescheduled!

Dear Athletes,

Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions we are making the decision to reschedule tonight’s clinic. Many of our coaches are stuck in Boston and a number of players have expressed concerns about driving (understandably)! PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD TO YOUR FRIENDS AND TEAMMATES!

We are planning on rescheduling the clinic for Friday April 6th from 6-10pm. If you are unable to attend the raindate, we will offer you a full refund on your registration fee before March 9th. This is in order for us to know how many available spots we will have on 4/6 and so that we have time to re-open registration if there spots available. If you would like to request a refund, please email Josh Seamon (jseamon@gmail.com) and include name of registrant(s) and the PayPal email address you used to make your original payment by March 9th.

Women’s Ultimate Day, Round 2!

Announcing VU’s Second Annual Women’s Ultimate Day! The event will be held on Friday March 2nd from 6pm to 10pm at Indoor Action Sports located at 1385 Bernardston Rd., Greenfield, MA 01370. The event costs $18 per participant.

Whether you are looking to dust off your old cleats, continue winter training, or pick up a disc for the first time, women of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend this indoor event. The all-female environment will be led by Championship-level female athletes with ties to this area as coaches and players.
