About Us

Valley Ultimate a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation whose mission is to promote and grow the sport of Ultimate in western Massachusetts and the Connecticut River Valley.  Our focus is to strengthen the Ultimate community by documenting, encouraging and creating opportunities for all levels of play.

Valley Ultimate serves as a resource & support for:

• individuals seeking opportunities to play

• teams seeking players, coaches and competition;

• individuals & groups interested in creating opportunities for others to play and or learn

Valley Ultimate is committed to developing and supporting increased youth participation in the community, and encourages positive playing and learning experiences that embrace Spirit of the Game.

Valley Ultimate is a USA Ultimate Affiliate. Based in Boulder, CO and founded in 1979, USAU is a player-run, non-profit organization that serves as the governing body for the sport of Ultimate in the United States.

Valley Ultimate is led by a volunteer Board of Directors that is elected every year – currently:

• Dan Kaplan (President)

• Kyle Taylor (Treasurer)

• Jess Cofrin (Clerk)

• Lee Feldscher

• Tiina Booth
